We have walked the Ceredigion Coastal path

Holiday cottage owners Mick & Julie's New Year's resolution was to walk the 60 mile long Ceredigion Coastal Path, West Wales in sections during Mick’s 60th year.

The idea was to be able to advise holiday cottage guests how best to enjoy coastal walking holidays from Stallion Valley holiday cottages and to make regular entries on The Stallion Valley holiday cottage blog.

The first walk was on Mick’s birthday January 15th 2013, the last yesterday January 14th 2014.

Yesterday’s walk was our 20th, 3 miles each way from Aberystwyth to Morfa Bychan return. The photo shows Julie heading back down the cliffs to Aberystwyth.

Fantastic scenery, a long steep climb and no rain!

We also walked along Aberystwyth promenade and there was very little sign of damage after the TV headlines of widespread damage.
