Low tide at dog friendly Poppitt Sands

A nice sunny day and with daughter Sally at home we decided  to head to nearby beach, Poppitt Sands, a firm favourite with our holiday cottage guests.

Never before have we been there at quite such a low tide and appreciated just how big this sandy beach is. 

This sandy estuary where the Teifi River meets Cardigan Bay is vast and even the most energetic of dogs have more than enough space to tire themselves out chasing the seagulls.
